Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environment and Natural Resources Management (3 Years)
The Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environment and Natural Resources Management is designed to produce experts in the fields of Geography and Natural Resources Management. Students will acquire essential knowledge and skills to address cross-cutting issues aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including ending poverty, achieving zero hunger, and promoting sustainable management of natural resources.
The programme emphasizes sustainable resource use, water security, clean energy, gender equality in natural resources management, and climate action. Graduates will be prepared to contribute effectively to environmental conservation, policy development, natural resource planning, and community-based projects, particularly focusing on marginalized groups.
By joining this programme, students gain the skills to become leaders, planners, and experts capable of addressing pressing environmental and natural resource challenges at local, national, and global levels.

Entry Requirements
Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environment and Natural Resources Management: Admission Requirements
A. Direct Entry Applicants
- For students who completed A-Level studies before 2014, two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from any two subjects are required, and one must be Geography (A = 5; B = 4; C = 3; D = 2; E = 1; S = 0.5).
- For students who completed A-Level studies in 2014 and 2015, two principal passes (i.e., ‘C’ and above) with a total of 4.0 points are required from any two subjects, one must be Geography (A = 5; B+ = 4; B = 3; C = 2; D = 1; E = 0.5).
- For students who completed A-Level studies from 2016 onwards, two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from any two subjects are required, one must be Geography (A = 5; B = 4; C = 3; D = 2; E = 1; S = 0.5).
B. Applicants Seeking Admission Under Equivalent Qualifications
- Holder of a second-class diploma with a GPA not less than 3.0 in any of the following fields: Forestry, Wildlife, Tourism, Community Development, Urban Planning, Rural Development, Land Survey, Land Evaluation, Education (Geography), Fisheries, Bee Keeping, Agriculture, Cartography, Environment, Geology, Geographical Information System, Natural Resources Management.
- Holder of a foreign certificate with B PLUS average equivalence letter from NACTE.
- Plus, at least four credit passes obtained from Ordinary Secondary Education Certificate (CSEE) including a pass in Geography.
